Scott’s Run Nature Preserve Adventurous Engagement Photos
Newton and Allison’s adventurous engagement session at Scott’s Run Nature Preserve in McLean, Virginia did not disappoint! This couple really loves hiking and the outdoors so this was the perfect location for them to do their engagement photos.
A little bit about Scott’s Run Nature Preserve about anyone who wants to do an engagement session here…
It is super easy to access! It has two entrances off of Georgetown Pike.
There are multiple spots and trails that are available for photos. For Allison and Newton’s engagement photos, we shot right on the stream and main walking path. For those who are not super big hikers (like me… haha!) this was the perfect spot for adventurous looking photos with not a whole lot of hiking. But if you are into doing harder hikes, there are totally trails for that. This spot also had very easy access back to the parking lot so if you want to change your outfits you can get back to your car with ease.
Speaking of the the different spots for photos, they are breathtaking between all the foliage in the woods, the water and the cliffs. It truly felt magical.
This session was super fun and I am so glad that Allison and Newton did their engagement photos in a spot that reflected well on where they like to go and what they like to do in their relationship.
