+ WHEN SHOULD WE SCHEDULE WITH YOU?

Our team books on a first come, first serve basis. We recommend reaching out to book us as soon as you have an idea of when and where you would like to book so we can get you on our team's calendar and you can pay our 50% non refundable retainer to make things official.

+ WILL YOU TRAVEL FOR SURPRISE PROPOSAL PHOTOGRAPHY?

Brooke is based out of Denver but will gladly go wherever you need her to go! She absolutely LOVE to travel (who doesn’t?!). Over the past couple years, Brooke has shot in Virginia, Maryland, Washington DC, North Carolina, New Jersey, Delaware, Rhode Island, Texas and Pennsylvania. + ARE YOU INCLUSIVE AND DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH LGBTQ+ COUPLES?

Yes, yes, 100% yes! As a surprise proposal, engagement and wedding photographers, our team believes love is love and that it would be absolutely ridiculous for anyone to work in this industry that is not willing to serve and celebrate ALL couples in love! Our team is LGBTQ+ affirming and believe Black Lives Matter. We will never discriminate based on gender, race, ability, sexual orientation, or one’s personal beliefs.

+ HOW LONG ARE SURPRISE PROPOSAL SESSIONS WITH YOU?

Our team's Surprise Proposal packages begin at 45 minutes of coverage. During that time we will capture the proposal itself followed by couples portraits afterwards. You have the option to add addition coverage if you would like to extend your coverage.

+ ARE ALL THE PROPOSALS YOU PHOTOGRAPH REALLY “SURPRISES” OR DOES THE ONE BEING PROPOSED TO KNOW THEY ARE HAVING THEIR PHOTO TAKEN?

Nope! While there is always an element of “surprise” during proposals, we have some clients that prefer not to have the photography part be a total surprise to their significant other they are proposing to. Our team likes to plan proposals in one of two ways…

Scenario 1: Our team is in hiding or pretending to be taking pictures of something else at a place and time we have planned for and we pop out to capture the moment when you ask the question.

Scenario 2: You book a “couples session” or some other kind of portrait session with our team and your significant other just thinks that regular photos are being taken, but we plan for a moment for you to pop the question during the session.

+ WHAT DO WE WEAR FOR A SURPRISE PROPOSAL SESSION WITH YOU AND HOW DO I INSURE MY SIGNIFICANT OTHER IS LOOKING THEIR BEST?

Upon booking, Brooke will send you our team's portrait photography style guide that will help you with choosing an outfit. We recommend planning a special date night or activity afterwards where it would be appropriate for them to dress up or if they know professional photos are being taken you can show them our team's style guide to point them in the right direction. Of course you can always message Brooke as well if you need some extra help deciding.

+ HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET OUR FINAL GALLERY AND HOW MANY PHOTOS DO WE RECEIVE?

For final galleries, it can take up to 2 weeks for portrait sessions. However, to give you a sneak peak, Brooke will send you some previews within 24-72 hours to hold you over so you can relive the moment and announce it to your friends and family. Brooke tries her best to edit in a very timely manner because she knows waiting forever for photos you are super stoked to see is the worst! While Brooke can't provide an exact number from a shoot, she can promise that you will receive an average of 60-80 images for 45 minutes of coverage. Brooke never caps the number of images that she delivers or withholds any images. Brooke will always deliver all the images that are well composed, well exposed and not duplicates of other images.

+ DO YOU DO EXTENSIVE PHOTOSHOP WORK ON BODIES?

Our team is made up of HUGE body acceptance advocates. Our philosophy is that real is better than perfect and a photoshopped body is not real looking or honors your body in the slightest. If you are coming into a shoot with us wanting your body to appear different then how you appear in real life, we are definitely not the photographers for you. The only time we do "extensive" editing (that is not even really extensive) is getting rid of small blemishes, skin discoloration and distracting objects in the background. Additional more extensive edits to images cost $50 per file and are sent out to professional editors.
