RiNo Art District Senior Portraits in Denver, Colorado | Faith
Faith’s Senior Portraits in Downtown Denver, Colorado in the RiNo Art District
Y’all… I present to you my FIRST photoshoot in Denver, Colorado (and it surprisingly wasn’t mountain views)! I just moved myself and my business cross country out to Denver, Colorado from Northern Virginia at the beginning of August. Because of the move, I took about a month hiatus from my business and put a pause of photoshoots. Definitely needed that break because the move was a lot! I find though everything I take a break from portrait sessions and weddings (whether its intentional or unintentional) my work when I come back my work has a whole new life to it and I definitely felt that with this senior portrait session.
Faith just graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor of liberal arts degree in psychology. She and her husband just moved out to Denver earlier this year. For her senior session, Faith wanted to do her photos in an urban setting. After looking around at different locations, I thought that the RiNo Art District in downtown Denver would be the best location.
I was so excited to shoot in the RiNo Art District (also known as the River Art District) because of the large array of colorful wall murals and graffiti done by different artists in the community. Coming from the Washington D.C Metropolitan area, I was so used to shooting most of my senior sessions in Washington D.C on the mall so it was such a special treat to do a senior sessions somewhere different. We start out at the Denver Central Market and explored from there. I know that for this session I just touched the tip of the iceberg for all of the different murals so I can’t WAIT to go back for future sessions.
