Surprise Proposal at Mount Falcon West in Indian Hills, Colorado

Josh reached out to me pretty far in advance to plan the perfect surprise proposal to Alex! Josh and Alex are both dentists (my second dentist couple of the year… haha!) and the met in dental school in Texas and chose to move out to Denver and start a life out here together once they graduated. It was really important to Alex to have an intimate surprise proposal with a beautiful mountain view and have the moment captured on camera. For their surprise proposal we had the most perfect sunset / weather and a spot with the most spectacular view all to ourselves. Josh got down on one knee and presented a beautiful emerald cut diamond ring to Alex and she of course said, “YES!”

Mount Falcon is a great spot to propose if you want a great mountain view that is easily accessible and not very far from Denver. It is located in Jefferson County in Indian Hills Colorado. Mount Falcon West Trailhead (the trail where this proposal was captured) has the most magical sunsets. The spot we chose for the proposal itself is an easy two minute walk from the parking lot and honestly there are many spots around it that can be utilized as well that also have incredible mountain views asl (which is great because this area sometimes can be a bit crowded with hikers, picnic goers and other photographers). What I really like as well about Mount Falcon West is that there are other scenic spots down the trail with completely different views that you can venture to for portraits. The trail overall is very easy to walk on and utilize for all.

I really enjoyed working with Alex and Josh for this surprise proposal and I seriously can’t wait to see what life holds for these two. Congradulations!
