Save the dates let guests know that they are going to be formally invited to your wedding in the coming months or year. They provide the guests with basic date and location information. Couples typically send out save-the-dates a few months after they've gotten engaged and have confirmed their wedding date and venue. As a wedding photographer, I typically shoot engagement photos for my clients which some choose to include on their save the dates cards. When I was creating samples of my own to test out for save the dates, I absolutely loved that not only did I had a ton of options to choose from but also could customize them to my liking when it came to font size, color and style. As someone who is really intentional about how things are designed, I just LOVED this! Currently, they offer them in over 30 designs including our ever-popular foil options, and, like their other products, they are customizable. What's really special about Basic Invite’s Seal & Sends is that guest's addresses are printed on the front of each invitation so no envelope is necessary! All you have to do is share a link, collect guest addresses, and upload them onto your design. My Personal Opinion and Experience with Basic Invite
Just so I could see what Basic Invite’s save the dates were like for myself, I created and ordered some custom samples just to see a few of their products and check out the design process for myself. I absolutely loved that the Basic Invite Website was so user friendly and easy to use in the creation process and that I had so many options for customizing all the little details on each invite. I was very impressed with the quality of the print job and texture / thickness of each of the save the date invites and magnets I ordered. Plus, my samples shipped really quickly and came nicely package in a welcome folder with information and instructions on order from Basic Invite.
