I first met Koko and AJ in March 2020 literally the weekend before everything shut down due to the pandemic when I photographed their surprise proposal. This winter, they decided they were ready make things official with a small Nikkah ceremony with their closest family and friends. We did portraits at the Islamic Center of Washington DC (which was one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen) and they had their ceremony and small dinner at Imperfecto. I had such a fun day celebrating with these two and I am glad that I got to photograph both their proposal and Nikkah!
