I am SO excited for you all to see Ryann’s dreamy senior portraits from our session at the Georgetown C&O Canal in Washington D.C.
A little bit about Ryann and our shoot…
Ryann just graduated from American University Washington College of Law. This was her third graduation of her life and for this one, she wanted to do something really special for her senior portraits.
Unlike most of my Washington D.C law school graduates who prefer to have their senior portraits taken at The Lincoln Memorial and/or The Supreme Court, Ryann wanted to take her photos somewhere outdoorsy and historic. As much as I love the classic DC look of The Lincoln Memorial and The Supreme Court, I was VERY excited to shoot somewhere different in DC. We picked the The C&O Canal in Georgetown and it ended up being the perfect choice for what Ryann was looking for. We shot in different ally ways, in front of white brick, on bridges and on the waterfront. It was a grey and cloudy day so the green’s really popped that day and the photos turned out amazing.
