Surprise Spring Proposal at The John F. Kennedy Center | AJ and Komal
AJ was suppose to prose to Komal last weekend on a special trip they had planned to Montreal but COVID-19 had other plans! Because AJ wanted to propose on Komal’s birthday, he decided to make other arrangements. His friend Usman who happened to be one of my past proposal clients called me up 48 hours before to help capture this momentous event at The John F. Kennedy Center in Washington DC. Usman and some of AJ and Komal’s friends met me a half hour before and we found this beautiful weeping willow backdrop to set up the proposal in front of that we marked with stick for them to stand (it was pretty funny!). All his friends hid and I pretended to photographing “the landscape” when they arrived the spot. Aj got down on one year, popped the question and Komal said, “YUZZZZ!” After the proposal, all of their friends ran out to surprise them! After some celebrating and group pictures, I took them for some couples portraits. Komal and AJ were beaming the whole time and had the most beautiful post engagement glow about them Congratulations AJ and Komal! <3
